Disney Cruise Line
Day 3 - December 28, 1999
Chef Mickey's was fun. We'd been before, and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. And the visit to our table from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale wasn't bad, either.
After breakfast, we visited the Magic Kingdom where we had to ride Splash Mountain. The line was long and I - true to form - complained about it all the way to the end. After Splash Mountain, we returned to Epcot in hopes of catching the Test Track, but the line was over two hours long, and all the FastPass tickets for the day had already been given out. Disappointed, we returned to our hotel with thoughts of maybe visiting a water park, but it was still too cold, so we waited a while and then left to visit Pleasure Island.
While traveling through the lobby of the Contemporary Resort, we noticed someone familiar standing with a group, and escorted by a Disney Special Services Cast Member. I'm very certain that person was George Lucas. I regret not asking for his autograph, but he was traveling with his family, so I thought it would be best not to bother him.
At Pleasure Island, we took in the improv comedy show at the Comedy Warehouse and then watched the dance show at Mannequins. We then turned in for the night.
